tA - The Aristocracy

-Outline-

The Aristocracy (tA) is currently forming a chapter for the upcoming game, Star Wars: The Old Republic. We are a milti-game, multi-platform community that has played or is currently playing a wide array of MMO's, FPS's, RTS's and Console Fighting Games. We exist to seek out new challenges and test ourselves against them no matter what the circumstances. tA has seen numerous successes as a guild in the past and we will continue this trend into the future as we enter TOR.

-General Information-

We will be using the standard USWEST/PvP server format. We enjoy PvP a great deal and see no point of using any other server type. Additionally we will be using PST as a timezone to cover the largest possible swath of playerbase in North America.

PvE progression will commence the moment we log into the head start and begin helping each other throughout the leveling process. We hope to be able to do all quests, flashpoints and reputations internally with tA members. Crafting professions will be equally focused and distributed to allow for maximum yield upon completion. Reaching the level capl ASAP is not a top priority as we do want people to enjoy the unique elements BioWare has added to this MMO. That being said we do expect you to progress at a steady pace and keep up with the majority of the guild. tA is first and foremost a team and we exist to assist each other in any way that we can.

-Ender's Game-

Upon reaching endgame we will begin our "progression clearing" raid schedule of Mon-Thurs 7:00p.m.-10:00p.m. PST. Members are expected to come prepared and on time so we don't end up waiting to start. Being prepared includes: being geared correctly, speced correctly, having knowledge of the instance and using consumables. Guild crafters can and will be providing general needs items but every member is expected to have their own personal supply of raiding essentials. Equipment and drops will be handed by our "non-asshole loot council" method. Simply put, if you are a raiding member of tA and an item drops that you can use in a PvE environment you will most likely be getting the item. If there is a large demand for any one piece it will be given to the member who can utilize it to it's fullest. Everyone will get loot. What we don't need are complaints about "my" item being given to someone else. This does nothing but weaken us as a cohesive force. After all current content is cleared we will settle into a more relaxed 2-3 day a week farming schedule whose specific time-frame will be determined by who still needs gear/wants to come. Main characters will ALWAYS get precedence over alts. Alt/pug raids can form whenever there is down time and the rules for them will be set by the leader.

Large scale organized PvP will be conducted mainly on the weekends or prior to/after PvE raids.

-Miscellaneous-
  • We are an 18+ guild and would like to keep it that way.
  • Most of our members consume large amounts of alcohol, swear incessantly and love to insult each other.
  • Considering the alcohol we should probably be a 21+ guild but let's not split hairs.
  • Everything you've heard about us is true. If you haven't heard anything about us now you have.
  • Any additional information (but most likely reworded versions of what you just read) can be found in our Guild Charter.
